Ozzy Lino
Lino is originally from Valletta, he started singing at an early age at the Johann Strauss School of Music. At age 9, his family immigrated to Sydney, where he then joined the professional group ‘The Green Valley Young Peoples Choir’.
He performed in numerous musicals even at a young age he toured extensively in Australia, Great Britain, America & Canada. Known today as Ozzy Lino, the singer-songwriter moved back to Malta in 2001 & started as a resident singer and co-host of ‘RED’ a music TV show, shortly after his first hit single in 2003 combined with an extensive list of performances, he quickly grew his reputation for live music in Malta.
In 2016 he earned the nickname ‘The Random Passenger’ after being captured on video whilst singing on a moving train in Frankfurt & later received the Frankfurt Tourism Award for the viral video that has been viewed over 200 million times worldwide.
Ozzy has performed with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra at the ‘V18’ concert ‘Tempo’ & ‘Rockestra’ and is a singer with the ‘Brass House Unit’.
